On December 11, 2009, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives arrested two suspects for the June 22, 2009, murder of 26-year-old Sevon Boles. The first suspect, 26-year-old Dominique Lavance Givens, was arrested at his home in San Francisco. The second suspect, 21-year-old London Shaw (also a resident of San Francisco), was arrested at the San Francisco County Sheriff’s Department’s Custody Facility in San Bruno where he had been in custody on unrelated charges
