The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors voted to restore about $22.5 million to public safety including $17.9 million to the Sheriff’s Department. The vote came during deliberations on the fiscal year 2010-11 budget. The additional funding reduces the actual cut to the Sheriff to about $20 million
