That Kings second-round pick
While the Kings were fixated on DeMarcus Cousins several days prior to Thursday’s NBA Draft, they were looking at two Xavier swingman Jordan Crawford and Marshall center Hassan Whiteside for their second-round selection (No.33). From what I have been told, at least two teams offered to buy the pick for approximately $2.5 million. Crawford went 27th to the New Jersey Nets and was traded to the Atlanta Hawks
