Bicyclist killed in crash with RT bus is identified
A bicyclist who died in downtown Sacramento when his bicycle was caught underneath a Regional Transit bus has been identified as 46-year-old William Detore, Sacramento County Coroner’s officials said today. Sgt. Norm Leong, police spokesman, said that based on witnesses at the crash site, “at this time it doesn’t appear there was any fault on the part of the (bus) driver.” But Leong added the investigation is continuing and that no final determination has been made.
