El Dorado mountain recreation permit program expanded

The El Dorado Irrigation District is expanding its annual permit program to cover day use and boating at three of its mountain recreation areas. Annual permits have long been available for Jenkinson Lake in the Sly Park Recreation Area, off Highway 50 near Pollock Pines. Now the permit also covers use of Caples and Silver lakes.
