Judge Marjorie Koller ordered Fotini Huntley committed to the Napa State Hospital for involuntary treatment until she is deemed capable of understanding court proceedings and assisting her attorneys. Mother of 4-month-old baby found dead arrested
Jennifer Blanchette Sacramento County authorities arrested the mother of a 4-month-old baby girl who was found dead in her bassinette inside a Rancho Cordova apartment on Friday afternoon. Sacramento County Sheriff’s child abuse detectives said they determined that Jennifer Blanchette, 40, “willfully caused the baby’s death by failing to attend to the needs of the child,” according to a news release on Tuesday. Omega Court Shooting Suspect Taken Into Custody
On April 30, 2010, at 10:49 p.m., Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex located at 5520 Omega Court. Deputies arrived and located a 44-year-old male victim who had suffered a single, non-life threatening, gunshot wound to his leg.
