The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department’s Toy Project in partnership with the Salvation Army will be providing toys and a Christmas dinners for less fortunate local families and children in the unincorporated areas of Sacramento County and the city of Rancho Cordova. The Sheriff’s Department continues to host and participate in activities for the remainder of the days before Christmas collecting donated toys for the Sheriff’s annual Toy Project Christmas Distribution Campaign. For over 30 years, donations by community members have played a significant role in providing for Sacramento’s less fortunate families.
