Sacto 911: Second suspect arrested in double homicide

Sacramento sheriff’s detectives have arrested a second suspect in Thursday’s shooting deaths at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Trussel Way in the Arden Arcade area.

January 8, 2010, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department detectives assigned to both the Major Crimes Bureau and the Gang Unit had gone to an apartment complex in the 7100 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard in search of 28-year-old Nolan Jerome Kerfeld. Kerfeld had two active warrants for his arrest. He was also a suspect who had ran from deputies during a vehicle stop on December 12, 2009, and then fought with and injured a deputy on December 18, 2009.
