El Dorado voters may decide fate of county’s charter

El Dorado County voters may be asked to decide three county charter-related issues in November, including whether to repeal the charter. Gilbert Zaragoza of Stockton was booked into Amador County Jail on two counts of attempted murder in the 5:30 a.m. shooting Sunday.

January home sales in the Sacramento region fell to their lowest point since March 2008, with 2,428 new and existing homes closing escrow, property researcher MDA DataQuick reported today.
