Home sales in Sacramento region lowest in nearly two years

Home sales in the Sacramento area improved again in September. January home sales in the Sacramento region fell to their lowest point since March 2008, with 2,428 new and existing homes closing escrow, property researcher MDA DataQuick reported today. Sales compared to January 2009 fell hardest in Sacramento, Yolo, Sutter and Yuba counties.
